What are the odds?

Already we are on day 6 and guess what, I have been ill for most of those 6 days. What are the odds? I have been looking forward to this trip for a long time. Shopping, parks, cafees but I hardly have the energy to leave my hotel room and feel like I'm passing out after a short walk. Of course jet lag doesn't help either. Oh well, at least I have time to read my books ;-) Hope tomorrow in France it will be better.

The hotel is nice, except we have a bus station under our window which causes a lot of noise and pollution, airco isn't working and it's 85 F today.

This weekend our gorgeous darling daughter was here and we did do some nice touristy stuff, she and I had some quality mom and daughter time and before we knew it it was time for her to leave again.

On Friday mr.Himself had a day off so we went sightseeing, drinking coffee and shopped a bit.

We went up the Nerotalberg in Germany with a small train that uses water for power. The train takes you up the hill which gives you a nice view over Wiesbaden on a clear day.

There's also a beautiful Russian Church a short walk down the hill.

We had a lovely lunch of baked goat cheese, tomatoes, basil and bread under the giant sun umbrella of the restaurant. What a great day that was! I was exhausted but it was well worth it.

Today I'm all alone, Himself is to his meetings, daughter is back home and I tried to go shopping. However they had to put me down in a store after I almost fainted so I went back to the hotel on shaking legs. Luckily I have my came with me, gives me a bit more security. Nice try Tink, hope this isn't going to become a habit as I passed out in a store before the trip also. So embarassing!

Tomorrow evening we fly to Nice, and will drive to Sophia Antipolis. Can't wait to touch down in France again. I know the hotel in Sophia is going to quiet and nice with terraces so i can sit outside and relax. *aaaaaaaahhhhh* lovely!
